AAA Reveals 2016 Four Diamond Award list, Spokane’s Davenport Grand Only New 2016 Washington Lodging

The Davenport Grand, Near Spokane’s Convention Center, Is The Only New Addition To The AAA Four Diamond Lodgings List In Washington

BELLEVUE, Wash. —AAA has added The Davenport Grand, an Autograph Collection Hotel, to the list of AAA Four Diamond Hotels. The new hotel earned a AAA Four Diamond award during their first year of business and is the only new lodging added to the list in Washington.

The original Davenport Hotel is known for its 1914 historically inspired ambiance, the Davenport Tower offers a modern look and feel and the newly awarded Davenport Grand boasts a more
contemporary style. We’re honored to recognize all three properties for their world-class service and high industry standard for quality.”

The Davenport Grand, 333 W. Spokane Falls Blvd., is conveniently a sky bridge away from the Spokane Convention Center and INDB Performing Arts Center. Built in 2013, opened in June 2015, the 15-story Davenport Grand has 716 rooms and is a destination for business travelers, special occasions or leisure travelers alike.

A total of 32 lodgings are represented on the AAA Four Diamond Award list in Washington and northern Idaho this year. While Washington does not have any AAA Five Diamond Award lodgings, these six hotels were added to the 2016 AAA Five Diamond list:

• Park Hyatt New York – New York, N.Y.
• St. Regis Deer Valley – Park City, UT
• The Cloister – Sea Island, GA
• The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain – Marana, AZ
• Trump International Hotel and Tower Toronto – Toronto, Ontario
