David Madeira Elected as Chairman of AAA Washington Board of Trustees

BELLEVUE, Wash. — AAA Washington, the leading provider of roadside assistance, leisure travel and personal-line insurance to more than one million members in Washington and northern Idaho, has elected David Lowe Madeira, CEO of America’s Car Museum, as Chair.

David Lowe Madeira (Gig Harbor), CEO of America’s Car Museum, was elected as Chair of AAA Washington’s Board of Trustees. Madeira has been with ACM since 2002. A well versed traveler, he has ridden his motorcycle across 25 countries, ranging from Turkey to Tibet, including riding over the highest pass in the world in Ladakh, India.

Madeira is an active member of the community and also serves as CEO of America’s Automotive Trust, an entity which includes America’s Car Museum and the RPM Foundation. Together, these organizations work to secure America’s automotive heritage and to educate young people for meaningful careers related to historic preservation. Madeira has been a AAA Washington board member since 2015.

Returning trustees are: Greg Bever (Spokane), retired publisher of Spokane’s Journal of BusinessGigi Burke (Everett), former co-owner and executive vice president of Crown Distributing; Don Brunell (Vancouver), retired President of Association of Washington Businesses; Marilyn Batt Dunn (Seattle), retired senior counsel, UW Medicine Advancement; Robert Flowers (Seattle), retired senior vice president of Washington Mutual Bank; José Gaitán (Seattle), managing member of the Gaitán Group PLLC; Paula Hammond, senior vice president, WSP at Parsons Brinckerhoff; Carolyn Kelly (Seattle), former president and COO of The Seattle Times; William Lampson (Pasco), president of Lampson International; Patti Paris (Moses Lake), former CFO of Columbia Colstor, Inc;  Ken Ryals (Beaux Arts), senior director of citizenship and public affairs at Microsoft; and Kirk Nelson (Sammamish)  president and CEO of AAA Washington.
