We're here for the long haul
One of our key values is, “Stronger Together”: a dedication to working toward diverse, just and equitable PNW communities. To that end, we have several efforts centered around “Safer Mobility for All,” including advocacy benefitting bikers, pedestrians and drivers of all kinds; and “Healthy, Sustainable Communities,” with emphasis related to automotive, travel and insurance.
Programs
Some of our most impactful community efforts are achieved via our programs. Our longest running is the School Safety Patrol; you’ve probably seen these young leaders keeping pedestrians safe outside your local schools! Soap for Hope has provided 1.5 million toiletries to PNW folks in need. And our newest program, Batteries to Branches, “turns” old car batteries into donated trees.
AAA Washington is proud of the close, long-lasting relationships we’ve formed with several local non-profits. Year after year, we donate AAA memberships and volunteer our time to amazing organizations such as Mountains to Sound Greenway, Treehouse, and more.
