School Safety Patrol Hall of Fame Logo

Since 1992, AAA Washington has proudly honored the dedication and leadership of student patrollers through its AAA School Safety Patrol Hall of Fame. Each year, ten outstanding patrollers from across the state are selected for induction—recognized for their commitment to keeping classmates safe, demonstrating leadership, and promoting traffic safety within their schools and communities.

What Makes a Hall of Famer?

Honorees are nominated by their patrol advisors and evaluated by a panel of judges that includes representatives from AAA Washington, the Washington Traffic Safety Commission, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction and the Evergreen Safety Council. Selection is based on:

  • Leadership on and off patrol
  • Commitment to safety and service
  • Positive impact on their school or community

In addition to recognizing student excellence, the program also celebrates and honors patrol leadership.
