FAQ - AAA Approved Auto Repair

Each AAA Approved Auto Repair shop must undergo a rigorous AAA inspection process, during which the physical facilities are evaluated, along with a shop’s insurance, industry certification and other criteria. All shop technicians must be ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certified/factory trained. Shops must also offer a package of exclusive AAA member benefits (see below).

Provide valid proof of an active AAA membership and receive: 

  • 10% discount (labor only, max $75) 

  • 24-month/24,000-mile warranty on repairs (whichever comes first) 

  • No-cost visual maintenance inspection on AAA member vehicles, upon request.

  • Fair pricing - easy to understand, written estimates provided for all work and final bill will not exceed the estimate by 10% without prior customer approval.

AAR shops can service most passenger vehicles, including EV, Hybrid, and light trucks, within the shop’s approved capabilities. We recommend contacting the shop directly to confirm they can service your specific vehicle. 

The 10% AAA discount applies to customer-pay repairs only, and does not apply to packaged, menu-priced, or already discounted services. Insurance deductibles are not eligible.
