I am unable to log in to my account (my email / password combination is not working or I saw a “Membership is Expired” message). How can I log in?

How do I change the address on my membership?
To change the address on your membership, visit your online account where you can update your physical address, email address, and phone number. If you do not have an online account, create one with your membership number. If you need additional assistance, you can also contact us.
I’ve married / changed my name. How do I update my accounts?
To change your name, log in to your online account and select “Manage Settings.” Here, you can update the name on your membership. If you do not have an online account, create one with your membership number. If you need additional assistance, you can also contact us.
Name changes can only be processed if there is a misspelling or through a change in marital status. Complete name changes are required to have written documentation and must be emailed to member@aaawa.com or mailed to our Membership Operations department at PO BOX 91245, Bellevue, WA 98008.
How long does it take for my membership card(s) to arrive?
You should receive your new card(s) within 4 weeks of joining, renewing, or upgrading.
I’ve lost my membership card. How do I get a new one?
You can request a replacement membership card, add a digital card to your virtual wallet, and/or print out a temporary card with your online account. If you do not have an online account, create one with your membership number. If you need additional assistance, you can also contact us.
My membership was renewed but I haven’t received my cards?
If you haven’t received your cards within 4 weeks, you can log in to your account and re-request or print via “Card Options”. You can also add your digital card on your mobile device. You can find your digital card in My Account and click “add to wallet” or go through our app.
How can I renew my membership?
You can renew your membership by logging in to your AAA online account and selecting renew, sending a check using your due statement that will arrive in the mail, or by calling our Member Services team at (800) 562-2582.
How do I opt into or out of auto renew?
You may opt in to or out of auto renew within the home page of your online account. Here is a direct link to sign up. The change will take effect at the start of your next membership year. If you do not have an online account, create one with your membership number. If you need additional assistance, you can also contact us.
Why should I enroll in auto renew?
Auto renew is the easiest way to maintain uninterrupted access to your membership benefits. By enrolling, you’ll enjoy seamless renewal through your online account while helping us reduce paper use and support more sustainable business practices.
With auto renew enabled, all renewal details, including your dues, payment method, and scheduled charge date, are delivered digitally through your online account and email. You can review your statement, update your payment information, or make changes anytime during your 60-day renewal window.
Choosing auto renew helps eliminate paper invoices and mailed reminders, reducing waste and supporting our ongoing commitment to sustainability while giving you the convenience and peace of mind of uninterrupted membership.
How do I update my credit card information on my auto renewal?
Log in to your online account and navigate to the Payment History Section. Select Payment Settings. From there, you can manage your credit card information.
I’ve moved into or out of Washington / Idaho. How do I transfer my AAA membership?
Please give our Member Services team a call to assist with your membership transfer at (800) 562-2582. We do not currently offer AAA membership transfers assistance online at this time.
How can I upgrade my membership?
Upgrading your membership is easy! You can upgrade your membership in My Account or call 800-562-2582.
How can I downgrade my membership level?
Your current membership tier is active until your membership term expires. If you are looking to downgrade before your renewal period, the change will take effect with your new membership term. Please contact our Member Services team at (800) 562-2582.
How do I add or remove a Household Member from my account?
Household Memberships (Associate Memberships) extend your AAA services to anyone residing at the same address and any children away at school. To add a Household Member, log in to your online account and select “Add Associate.” If you do not have an online account, create one with your membership number. If you need additional assistance, you can also contact us.
Household Members are covered for the duration of your membership year and can only be removed during the renewal period. When you complete your renewal online, you are given the option to also renew your Household Member(s) for the new membership year.
The Primary account member has passed away. How do I remove them from the account?

How do I cancel my membership?
We hate to see you go, but understand that life happens and circumstances change. Please call our Member Services team at (800) 562-2582.
How do I opt out of mailings? Can you stop sending me mail or remove me from your mailing list?
For insurance mailers, please contact Member Services at 800-562-2582 or use the Contact Us form.
It may take up to 2-4 weeks for mail or up to 1-2 weeks for email for your changes to take effect. Due to the way insurance solicitations are handled, these can take 3-6 months to stop. You may still receive some mailings during the processing time.

How much does a AAA Washington Membership cost?

How many cars does my membership cover?
AAA Membership covers members, not vehicles. When you choose a Classic, Plus, or Premier Membership, that means we’ve got YOU covered — whether you’re a multi-car household or you frequently carpool with others.
Are my spouse and/or children covered by my membership?
You can cover your spouse or children by adding them as Household Member(s) (Associates) to your account. You can easily add a Household Member by logging into your account. To learn more, visit our Household Membership Benefits page.
Does AAA offer coverage for RVs or Motorcycles?

Is there a waiting period for Roadside Assistance after joining or upgrading AAA?
All new members and their household members get Classic level roadside service for the first 5 days. After that, your selected membership level roadside service benefits apply.
Can I get roadside assistance if I’m not an AAA Washington Member?
No, AAA Washington is a member organization, and we'd love to have you as a member. If you do not want to join, we can connect you to a service provider in your local area who can assist you with towing and winching services at current retail rates.

What are the advantages of a AAA Washington membership over insurance roadside coverage? I have roadside coverage with my insurance provider, why would I need AAA?
