The trusted go-to for automotive services opens new locations in Seattle and Spokane
To meet the needs of its growing 1.2 million+ membership, AAA Washington – local trusted experts in automotive, travel and insurance – today announces the expansion of fleet operations in the Seattle and Spokane markets. The two new locations will improve response times and coverage in these high-demand regions. AAA Washington members can rely on fleet services, including mobile battery service for gas-powered vehicles along with tire changes, lockout assistance and towing for both gas-powered and electric vehicles. Members also receive access to a network of AAA Washington-approved auto repair shops.
“This is a significant milestone for AAA Washington as we expand our capacity to service our ever-growing membership base,” said Percy Hoffmann, vice president of automotive solutions at AAA Washington. “This fleet expansion is about elevating the level of service that defines our commitment to every member we serve. Along with our expanded fleet, we will continue working closely with our long-standing network of service providers to ensure that we remain a trusted partner on the road, today and well into the future.”
AAA Washington’s Spokane Fleet Center in the Trent Industrial District is the club’s first fleet location in the market. This location is fully refurbished in line with employee and operations-centric design and amenities.
AAA Washington’s Seattle Fleet Center is a relocation from the Magnolia neighborhood to the South Downtown (SoDo) area near the I-5 corridor. The expanded facility was designed with AAA Washington employees in mind, with areas for continued job training, learning and development and a smooth flow to ease daily operational activities while providing all materials, tools and on-site mechanical services.
It will also be home to AAA Washington’s first EV light service truck, a Ford Lightning, and fleet charging stations. Fleet charging stations will soon be installed at the club’s Renton facility, which went through a complete refresh last year, and its Spokane and Newport facilities.
“As we embark on our journey toward decarbonizing our fleet, investing in zero-emission vehicles and the necessary infrastructure is a pivotal part of our strategy,” said Hoffmann. “By proactively adapting to greener technologies, we are anticipating our members’ needs, while continuing to safeguard the Pacific Northwest for future generations, as we have for the past 120 years.”
AAA Washington now has fleet locations in Seattle, Spokane, Renton, Bellevue, Vancouver and Lynnwood. The club is hiring tow truck drivers across the state; for more information on employment opportunities, visit www.aaa.com/careers.
